Biography
Pia Subias Pujadas is a Spanish art historian affiliated with the Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals. She is renowned for her extensive research on ceramics, particularly within the context of Modernist and Art Nouveau movements. Subias has authored several scholarly articles and books, including “Durancamps,” which explores the works of the artist Celso Lagar Durancamps.
She has made significant contributions to the understanding of ceramic use in Antoni Gaudí’s architecture, as highlighted in her work presented at the Ninth Annual Congress of the Associació de Ceramologia. Her studies emphasize the intricate ceramic designs in Gaudí’s projects, such as Park Güell and Casa Batlló.
