Biography

Thomas Ferk is a researcher and architect, born in 1983 in Schwaz in Tirol, Austria. He studied architecture at the University of Innsbruck from 2003 to 2011, completing his master thesis titled “Gaudí’s project for a chapel in the Park Güell – attempt a reconstruction of the existing sources.”

Since 2011, Ferk has been a research assistant at the international D-A-CH project “Construction knowledge of early modernism – Shukhovs strategies for economical steel structures.” He is currently preparing a dissertation titled “Shukhovs lightweight towers in the context of national and international development.”
